A Northeast Ohio Garden - John Hric

I hybridize mainly for spiders and unusual forms.  I work with both dips and tets.  I like exploring the older cultivars to see what they have to reveal.

Twilight Gardens - Marge Hrusch

MHEARSCH.jpg
Marge has been hybridizing on a small scale since 1984.  She registered her first seedling, Stefania Karolina in 2006.
Twilight Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio has a cross section of all types, colors, and forms of daylilies with an emphasis on pink, roses, lavenders, and purples.

I garden on a small suburban lot and have been hybridizing daylilies since 1997.  Hybridizing is limited to diploid daylilies to keep my program from outgrowing the available garden space.  My favorite daylilies (and the original goal of my hybridizing program) are those with contrasting edges, either lighter or darker but no eyes.  My daylilies also tend towards pastel colors.  But other types of seedlings are also kept if they strike my fancy.  I registered my first two daylilies in 2010.
